First things First…

Hi there and welcome to It Works! we are so glad you have decided to join us and wanted to take a second to provide you the answers to our most frequently asked question about being successful in our Business.

Q. What is the first thing I need to do?

Begin using the products yourself. The more that you try the better. Your most powerful story will be your personal experience.  Start with the Ultimate Body Applicator and Defining Gel, but don’t ignore our impressive Facial Applicator or fantastic line of naturally based Supplements.  Become your own best customer! 

Q.  I want to get the best pricing, is the Distributorship or the Customer Loyalty program a better option for me?

Everyone falls into one of these three categories.

  1. You want to make a substantial full time income.
  2. You want to supplement your current situation with a part time income.
  3. You don't want to sell anything, you just want to get the very best pricing on the products. 

If you fall into Category 3, the Customer Loyalty program was designed for you. People that want the best possible pricing but will probably never “work” the business. There is no sign up fee to become a Customer Loyalty and you only need to agree to a small three month commitment to auto shipment. You can change your monthly order anytime. As a Customer Loyalty you do not qualify to earn money on referrals, you are just getting wholesale pricing for making the three month commitment to let our products make a difference over that period of time. You can always upgrade to a Distributorship if you change your mind.

If you fall into category 1 or 2 then the Distributorship is what you are looking for. It was designed for those who want to make some money, either part time or full time by referring and sharing the products with others.  The Distributorship includes products, a replicated website to refer your potentials to and all of the training and marketing materials needed to get started.

Q. As a Consultant do I have to build a team or can I just buy products at a discount?

The beauty of It Works! is that you design your business to suit your needs and lifestyle. You can set your own pace.  You can choose to use your business as a means of getting phenomenal products at a discount and earn a few referral fees by turning your friends on to them too.  Or you can make a full time career out of your It Works! business and quickly earn a significant six figure+ income.  You can even make a significant income by just collecting Customer Loyalties.

No matter your aspiration, we recommend that you set up your auto ship to the minimum of 80 PV (personal volume) every month in product for yourself as a personal use order.  This allows you to qualify each month for all bonuses and a paycheck and will also allow you to try the many wonderful It Works! products beyond the Applicators.

Q. If I want to earn supplemental income with It Works! what is the best way to get started?

After using our products yourself, it is only natural that you will share them with others.  We recommend having a “Wrap & Lose Event” at your Home or Office.  The power of “a room full of people that have all just lost 1-6 inches in an hour” cannot be described! Some will lose more than others, but they always remember the biggest loser and that is who they go back to work and tell everyone about!  You will end up with Loyalty Customers and Consultants on your team right away and your business is off to a great start! Then follow our 822 business approach.

·         Set a goal to wrap at least 8 people a month. They can be done one-on-one or you can hold a minimum of one event with eight people. We have many distributors that carry wraps in their car and actually have wrapped people in restaurants and bathrooms during their everyday travels.  Set a goal and reach for it.

·         Conduct or attend 2 exposure events per month.  (a party, a networking event, a one-on-one) When you attend these events, set your goal to book one “Wrap & Lose Event” from the group at the networking event.

·         Add a minimum of 2 new Customer Loyalty per week/month to your team. People who want to lose inches are easy to find and many of them will fall in LOVE with the products and turn into Distributor Team Members. 

Q.  How do I recommend becoming a Distributor or becoming a Customer Loyal to someone? I am never sure which option to suggest?

Call your sponsor or their sponsor for their assistance. You are a part of a very experienced team of individuals with many years of combined experience in the industry. If you are not sure how/what to say…use your best asset…your Team Members!  We are happy to do a three way call or a face to face meeting to answer questions that you may feel you are not ready for yet.  Refer to the three catagories above..most people know which one they want to "live" in.

Of course the second part of the answer to this question is….get the Ultimate Body Applicator 2.0 on them and let it do the talking!  We have an amazingly demonstratable product…. that once experienced…truly sells itself!  Also share our new “The Ultimate Applicator Flyer” with everyone you meet.  (Don’t forget to add your contact info to it before handing it out.) They will want more info once they tried it!

Q.  Do I have to have a  “Wrap & Lose" Kick Off Event?

We are NOT a party plan, but we have a great "party" product line that allows us to “lead with the product” and present to groups. Because our Applicators demonstrate results within 45 minutes and those results are so impressive, it is natural to present to groups (large and small).  Our product line also offers you a high profit margin so you can turn a quick profit at each demonstration Event.  So to answer that questions, no…you do not “have” to, but I will also ask you…"Why not?”  As a Consultant you want to make the most amount of money in a short time frame. Hosting a kick off Event is one of the best options available to insure your Business is on the road to success.

And to further elaborate on the answer to that question….as many of you know It Works! is a sort of hybrid of MLM and direct selling.  Our unique pay plan allows you to earn immediete income (product mark up) and continue to earn a residual income that is usually only experienced through the world of MLM companies. With our product you have both! A great product attached to a great opportunity. The It Works! compensation plan offers substantial immediate income and a very impressive residual income.  That said, depending on what method you chose to conduct business, your kick off “Wrap & Lose Event” definition will change.

Your kick off event can be: (this is just a partial list…use your imagination and think how to get in front of groups…)

·         Host a “Wrap & Lose Event” at your home or office. There is nothing that can speak as loudly as our product being seen “in action” at a group event!  Invite everyone you know and tell them “We think you are wonderful just the way you are, but who doesn’t want to tighten, tone or lift a body part or two? And what about losing a few inches that night? I hope you can join us!”  

·         Host an online event, pick a date and time and collect orders for the host, offering him/her similar Host Rewards as if she had a party. Supply her with Catalogs and Ultimate Applicator Flyers prior to the event to collect order for you and reward him/her.

·         Go “Street Walking”  (physically cold call) and talk to each business in your area asking them to host a “Wrap & Lose Event” in their business? You will be surprised at the positive response and amount of business that you gain from this type of exposure! You will probably even acquire a few Customer Loyals along the way. Our team has never gone “Street Walking” without success.

·         Schedule five or six “One on Ones”, follow up and collect orders. Make sure to present your favorite supplement with the Applicator.  Just pick one and talk energetically about it….customers will “marry” a great supplement and you will have a lifelong Loyalty Customer this way.  (our top “marriage” supplements are the New You 2.0 and the It’s Regular)

·         Email blast with our new Customer Generator. Email the series of It Works! information templates to everyone that you know. ($15 per month to subscribe and use this service)

·        Dial for Dollars. Call all of your existing friends and ask them to become Loyalty Customers. Incentivize them to do so today!  (eg. FREE bottle of Fat Fighter if they place an order over $100 or FREE facial applicator if they order the Holiday Skin Care Set…use your imagination and incentivize them with what you have in your cupboard.) Offer those that are across the country the “Little Black 911 Beauty Bag – Tummy Trimmer” for starters if they want to “try it first” before they sign up as a Loyalty Customer or Consultant.

Your kick off Event is an intentional activity where you hang your “Open for Business” sign on your virtual door! This is your new Business…be creative and have fun promoting it!  Do the things that you enjoy doing to reach out to people with your new product line!

Q. What tools do I need right away to be Successful and Effective?

When you are just getting started we do not want you to spend a lot of money other than your $299 Starter Kit. So in addition to that, we are recommending only the bare bones items/tools that we feel will help you right out of the gate!

·         Business Cards – we have a template loaded on our team login at www.vistaprint.com where you can customize your It Works !Business Card.  Vista print offers very inexpensive printing in quantities from 250 on up.  Ask your sponsor for the team login and password.  

·         Day-Timer – keep track of all your It Works! goals and events.

·         Wrapping Caddy – we recommend (but you can use any similar product) the Craft Organizer from Michaels.  We like the black "mini organizer" by Scrap, Paper Scissors with handles and multiple compartments. ·         Keep a supply of the Ultimate Body Applicator Flyer and Catalogs on hand. (ordered these items from your back office business supply list) These are indispensable sales tools! Make sure to sticker them with your contact info before handing them out! We LOVE this new tool!

·         Hostess Packet Forms. You can download these documents in the Team Files section of this website.  You must be a registered member of this site to access the page. These are a Team Exclusive and can be used with the Getting Started Hostess Flyers from the company. Our team forms are each created in Word for easy customization. Very important for successful Party Planning.

Q. Other Words of Wisdom?

Don’t focus on results….focus on the steps needed to get the results and the results will magically follow! 

Don’t decide for your “potential recruit” if they should be a Customer or even a Consultant, let them decide…maybe they don’t want to be either, that is ok!  If you get too focused on one person that “You” think should be doing this…you will miss other opportunities that will cross your path.  Too often one gets discouraged when someone does not like our product or does not want to join. Learn to NOT take rejection personal, it is part of being in business.

Here is a great story I recently heard from an MLM icon. Let's call her Patty for the purpose of this Story. 

Patty was on stage and asked us to visualize this situation. She said...

"I want everyone to picture a dozen customers walking into Wal-Mart (or any retail store of your choice) and those customers begin to look around (otherwise known as “shopping” ), they go down several aisles, browsing, picking up a few items and putting them back on the shelf.  

NOW…picture that 6 of those customers walk out empty handed….(we were all wondering what the HECK IS SHE TALKING ABOUT?)

Then Patty smiled and asked us "Do you think that it would even cross the minds of the owners/management of Wal-Mart to close their doors because some people came in and didn’t buy what they had looked at? 

We all cracked up! No of course not…because Wal-Mart does not take rejections personally…it comes with the turf! You should expect that many people will LOVE your products as you do and many will not!" 

HA…she had an amazing point!  Dont close your doors because you had a few people say "no".  We offer an amazing product line, but we live in a society of choice…not everything is for everyone. So don’t’ worry about the “no’s” they come with the turf!   Get the “no” out of the way so you are closer to the next “yes”.  We promise for every one person that doesn’t buy, there are five more that will!

Let the “law of averages” run its course and just focus on the steps, we guarantee the results will come to you when you do.  It’s just a matter of being consistent and keep talking about the products that you love! The more people you get to try the Wrap...the more customers you will end up with...the more Successful your Business will be!
